Over the past 11 years, iias has continued to grow each year. We continue to increase our number of satisfied customers and our team of skilled employees. In June, we took another big step in the growth of our company.

iias has teamed with Ambassador Travel, a local travel agency and long-time client of iias. This merger will allow us to present our clients with continued support and more services. Along with this merger have come some changes. The first change was a move from our old office on Simpson Road to the Ambassador Travel office at 2617 Montrose Avenue, Abbotsford, BC. We have settled well into our new location, and we are now one big team. This move has taken us from 2,500 to almost 6,000 sq. ft., providing us with more work stations and increasing our talent pool. It will also help us to expand into travel technologies and other solutions to help us serve you better.

Our merged companies have also experienced some changes in management. Mike is now a majority shareholder and the CEO of Ambassador Travel, as well as the President and CEO of iias. Ambassador Travel’s owners/managers Peter Bruckmann and Diana Young are no longer responsible for day-to-day management of Ambassador Travel, but will continue as partners and serve on the Board of Directors. Ryan Bruckmann is now a partner and the Vice President of the merged companies, and will be responsible for the travel division. The new management team also includes James Konkler, Harry Parhar, Monique Farmer and Jodi Vermeulen.

iias is very happy to announce this exiting news. We are greatly anticipating the advancements we will make in our services over the next few months and years. We will continue to offer our clients our current full range of services, and will add new services as time progresses.
